The Official History of FoodserviceRumors.com

FoodserviceRumors.com was founded in 1893 by a group of seven Austrian prospectors.

The original computers used for the enterprise were powered by horse manure.  The advent of the steam powered computer was hailed by most as a great advancement in FoodserviceRumors history.  Although a liberal dose of horse manure has remained a key ingredient in the site.

In the latter half of the 20th century Algore invented the internet, and the still struggling FoodserviceRumors had its first big break.  The descendants of the original group of seven (the Mag7Group) had by then disbanded and their gauntlet was picked up by three drunken unemployed DSRs.  Even in their pathetic condition, two of the three could see that putting the site on the Internet would be a tremendous improvement over the past system which involved posting 3x5 index cards in laundromats.

The money saved on index cards was supplemented by cashing in 3 garages full of empty aluminum beer cans, and the money was invested in a web site on OneMain.com, which proved to be a totally unreliable service, so we switched and that's how we got here.

Amen.
